Jane: Growing up, there were very few moments that my nose wasn’t stuck in a book and that definitely has not changed over the years. My taste in books cater to fiction and the worlds that authors create– so don’t be surprised to see many reviews and excitement from my end when it comes to story and plot. Twenty-three years of age and to this day, a child at heart, so you could say that working in the children’s department of a major publishing company is a dream come true. Note: I read a lot of young adult books and will continue to do so for… the long haul. You have been warned!
Carin: Growing up, I was always that little girl trying to lug more books out of the library that she could carry. Once I started working and learned the joys of money management, I learned how to be frugal about everything except books. I now have a personal library that takes up a good chunk of my tiny apartment and has a great selection of everything from 20th century dramas to religious studies to thriller novels. These days I’ll read anything that can capture my attention and hold me past the first page. Note: I work in production and you might find the occasional analysis of covers, paper, typography, and design in this blog. I sometimes take judging a book by its cover to a whole new level.
